Water
Treatment
ABCO
Water
Aus-Asia Water Engineering Group have selected ABCO Water of
Perth Western Australia who have for over 30 years worked in
the design, manufacture, installation and project management
of water & sewage treatment systems through out Australia
and many locations over seas including the Asia Region.
Working
with ABCO Water Systems, we will investigate the best and most
responsible solution to our clients needs for each project.
Water
Treatment Systems
Aus-Asia Water Engineering will work with our clients to develop
and design a water treatment system to best meet the needs of
the project. The design stage of the project will entail the
gathering of detailed information with relation to the requirements
of the project and then an analysis of the supply water to be
treated. We can the provide budget designs and costings for
presentation to our clients.
These
water treatment systems can be supplied to any capacity. We
are able to design and supply fully installed systems that can
be fitted in existing or new purpose built buildings or in containerized
form with relocation in mind.
In
all projects, it is our intention to utilize local knowledge
and equipment for these projects, to assist in developing local
business and to provide employment for local workers and contractors.
It
is our goal to import minimal equipment for projects and to
provide new technology for the new systems.
Sewage
Treatment Plants
Technology has increased over recent years in the area of sewage
treatment. With the substantial shortages of water in the world
today, treatment of sewage to a re-usable level has become a
must rather than a preference.
The
technology we bring to this market will provide a level of treatment
that will allow the re-use of sewage water for irrigation projects
of for discharge into waterways. The discharge water for either
irrigation or for discharge into water ways will be of a quality
that it will enhance the environment into which it is placed.
BOD and pathogen levels are carefully monitored and regulated
in order that no contamination can occur or spread of disease.
Containerized
and Component Systems
We also specialize in containerized systems. In remote regions
of the country, availability to equipment and trades people
work on and construct these systems can be a factor and as such,
a modular system can be designed and installed. The entire system
will consist of multiples of 40ft containers that are stood
on prepared blocks. The components of the system are then connected
together and the system is then ready for start up. Water tanks
are installed to assist in the regulation of the inflow and
final treatment and polishing of the outflow from the system.
These systems can also be set up to run on Solar power if required.
This option would depend on the availability of regular and
continuous power supply as loss of power would shut the system
down and this can not be an option for this type of system.
These
systems can in many cases be cheaper and faster to install given
minimal preparation or site works.
Local
Labour and Local Manufacture
It would be our intension to work to prepare these containerized
components locally and then transport to site. Technology would
be imported for the construction and set up of these systems
and local labour would be employed for their construction and
installation.
It
is our intentions in call cases to work with local companies
and labour to procure any locally available materials, technology
and expertise before involving external information and technology
sources. If it is deemed that better, more efficient or cost
effective technologies are available externally, this information
will be sourced, and through discussion and careful consideration
the best option for the application at hand will be applied
to the project.
Drinking Water Treatment Plants
Water
Treatment Plants for water supplies for human consumption are
critical in their design and construction. Initial design is
of utmost importance to ensure that in the design stage, all
areas and possibilities are covered including the possibility
of deterioration of the supply water stream to the system.
When
all areas are covered, the system will be designed with tolerances
in place to allow for any potential deterioration in the supply
water. All system within the treatment plant are duplicated
to allow for a partial shut down in the event of failure of
a component in the system. This duplication design makes allowance
for the inevitable and ensures a continued water supply to the
end user, even if at a reduced rate while repairs to the system
are undertaken.
There
are many options with relation to water treatment plants. The
design will in all cases be based on the supply water quality
and the required product quality.
Standards
In all cases, the design will be prepared to provide a product
water that will meet WHO (World Health Organisation) standards
for potable or drinking water.
These
standards also require constant and ongoing monitoring and maintenance
of the system. This is an area that will require the highest
level of design and training of the final owners and operators
of the water treatment plant.
Remote
Monitoring System and Service
We are able to fit remote monitoring equipment to all our water
treatment plants. Critical information with regard to supply
water, system pressures, filter status, product water quality
and failure of any component is gathered and stored in data
loggers on the system. This information is downloaded on a regular
basis in order that trends can be established and maintenance
schedules can be established and put in place.
In
the case of changes to any part of the system or water quality,
the system will raise an alarm that will then be phoned through
to the operation base. A maintenance technician would then be
sent to the site to attend to the problem. He would have the
appropriate information prior to attending in order that speedy
repairs to the system can be effected and the supply restored.
Consistency
of Quality and Supply are the goals for these water treatment
plants
Chemical and Waste Water Treatment Plants
Chemical
Waste Water Treatment is both critical and sensitive by nature.
Much
of the contamination to local waterways is through discharge
of chemical waste water and untreated sewage.
Every
waste water treatment plant is designed to the individual needs
of the project.
Our
group of companies have substantial experience in many areas
of chemical waste water treatment. We are able to provide designs
for biological or chemical treatment systems dependant on the
application.
There
are a range of options for the treatment of many waste water
products and a limited range of options for others. Hence the
need to obtain detailed and specific information for each project.
Once
detailed analysis of the product to be treated is made available,
details are sent to our chemical engineers for assessment. If
it is found that proven systems are in place for the particular
product, details of quantities on a litres/day basis including
any peak periods etc are gathered to assist in the design of
the system.
If
it is found that there are no current standard procedures for
the treatment of a particular material, trials will be undertaken
to prepare and prove up a technique and a system to cater for
the problem. It is then recommended that a pilot plant be prepared
to treat some of the actual material at the site in order that
tests can be conducted on the product water from the system
and formal records prepared for submission to relevant authorities.
The submission of any information to local relevant authorities
would be by the client and not by our company, ensuring total
confidentiality throughout the entire project.
Confidentiality Assurance
As these projects are sensitive by there very nature, total
confidentiality is assured to the client and no information
is divulged to any person, company or regulatory body relevant
to the project.
The
intension is to make a positive difference to our environment.
Lets make a better world for our children.
